Super Hydrophilic Polymer
Super Hydrophilic Polymer (SHP) 4483 that improves the hydrophilicity of polymeric membranes to increase the membrane pure water throughput, lower the energy usage in operations, and lengthen the operations uptime. Unlike existing hydrophilic additives such as PVP and PEG, the proprietary polymer does not leach out from the membrane. Ideal for use in industrial waste water, food and beverage waste water, and fragrance and favour waste water treatment.

Firmbase uses a Collaborative Business Methodology to carry out its Mission to seek and develop technology and business opportunities. Through this business model, Firmbase’s SHP was successfully incorporated into the membrane matrix of its strategic partner, De.mem Pte Ltd. This enhances the anti-fouling performance of the PVDF membrane. Firmbase is also an authorised distributor for De.mem Pte Ltd products. Two sets of specific membrane products are available from De.mem Pte Ltd. One is with NSF certification suitable for residential and municipal applications (PES-GO) while the other is for demanding anti-fouling Industrial waste water treatment (PVDF-AG).
